Overview
ViaVision Group seeks an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to provide hands-on support for complex workplace issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in navigating sensitive employee relations cases and who can deliver a white-glove, high-touch approach while also advising on preventative strategies that strengthen workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities

Lead complex employee relations cases, including workplace investigations, mediation and conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement planning.

Conduct thorough, impartial investigations ensuring compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, and best practices.

Advise and coach client HR teams and managers on employee relations best practices, effective communication, and conflict de-escalation.

Partner with leaders to proactively identify trends, assess risks, and recommend strategies that reduce exposure to legal claims and foster trust.

Act as a trusted advisor to executives and HR leaders, providing empathetic, professional, and pragmatic guidance.

Document and manage client cases with precision, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and timely follow-through.

Contribute to the development of processes, tools, and frameworks that enhance employee relations effectiveness for clients.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

10+ years of HR experience with significant focus on employee relations and workplace investigations.

Certificate in Workplace Investigations from the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI-CH) is required.

Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.

Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to influence at all organizational levels.

Track record of handling high-stakes, sensitive cases with discretion and sound judgment.

Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (CRM experience a plus).

A writing sample of a completed workplace investigation must be provided at time of application.

Compensation: Non-exempt, $60–$75/hr BOE
This role is designed for seasoned ER professionals who excel at both resolving complex cases and building organizational capacity to prevent future issues.
